Introduction

The purpose of this examination is to see if you can qualify for acceptance into Columbia's broadcasting training program.

You will receive one overall evaluation for the complete Entrance Examination. The different sections will be graded separately. From these results, Columbia will determine your best approach toward a communications career.

This examination will measure your aptitude for careers in the communications industry. This examination does not measure your intelligence or other psychological aptitudes.

There are interrelated groupings of multiple choice questions. You will be examined as to your current knowledge of words, grammar, creativity, logic, and salesmanship. These are vital "tools-of-the-trade". Columbia must have an overall view of your current level of development in each area to determine your broadcast ability profile.
